Are you an English Rose, or a Dusky Beauty? What would you like to be?
Your look can be so versatile and a change of hair colour can make you feel like a new person, but do you know what really suits you?
When you thinking of choosing a new colour you need to consider your natural skin tone. There are four basic complexions dark, olive, porcelain and peaches & cream.
Olive skin is the most versatile and can take rich chestnut browns, but be careful with light ash colours as they can make your skin look too yellow.
Darker skin can take plum browns or mahogany, but be careful when going lighter, unless you want to make a bold statement with platinum blonde.
Porcelain skin suits cool, ashy blondes, avoid golden and dark shades as these will drain your skin.
If you have Peaches and Cream skin a golden, caramel blonde will make you look radiant. Stay away from rich red tones as they will accentuate the redness in your skin.
Salon Tip: Before getting a new hair colour always book a consultation with your hairdresser who will be able to advise you on the best colour to suit your skin tone.
