Frocktail?s Urban Cocktail Looks

The second installation of the fashionable Frocktail Party – a glitzy evening where over 700 hundred well-dressed party-goers in Toronto came together to raise funds for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) – successfully raised thousands of dollars, while sending guests home with fabulous frocks!

Not only did proceeds from the luxe event go to a good cause, the but attendees were able to bid on hundreds of new and celeb-donated beautiful dresses by the likes of Herve Leger, Greta Contantine and Jeremy Laing. Guests noshed on canapes by Oliver and Bonacini and enjoyed mani’s by OPI in between bids. While the evening had no shortage of women in black, one couldn’t help but notice there was a ‘Mad Max’ edge in the room. Or maybe it was just urban grunge…

Ana stood out among a room of pretty ladies in an Alexander McQueen silk-print dress paired with buckled wedges while Toronto TV show Lakeshore’s Salem went urban military edgy in knee-high boots and a party-acceptable puffer vest.

Hair stylist Chris Wood (look at that hair!) came in his regular dapper work clothes while Greta Constantine’s Kirk Pickersgill and Stephen Wong took a moment to manicure for a cure.

Maria Barsali looks dangerous in head to toe Alexander Wang; accentuated shoulders, over the knee boots and heaps of hand decor

Not your typical cocktail wear, Bettina Shake went with ‘Mad Max anime’ while her friend Ana Manaowas kept it girly in a silky one shoulder dress

Brenna Eller chose glitzy Gypsy-style cropped pants with matching shoes for the evening
